Plug your device and computers into the switch and you will be able to change which machine has access to it at the push of a button. Note that if you go to the trouble of learning how to configure a home network then you will get the same functionality without switching, but this is cool for the countless people that don’t know what to do and don’t have the time to figure it out and its cheap..
